# BONE FLOW #024 — v1.0.266 development candidate

Status: DEVELOPMENT / NOT COMPLETED. No Windows/Edge real-user database validation.

## Reported user faults in v259
- Voucher save screen remains on SQLite saving, no feedback when the promise remains pending.
- Subaccount-add modal gives no clear feedback, and a master-only action invokes mark(), removing payrollDetails from the voucher draft.
- Switching the selected template to basic general voucher leaves the current payroll postings in view, risking confusion and overwrite.

## Changes
- Display-only SQLite save watchdog at 12 seconds explicitly says the save result is unknown. It does not cancel, retry, or announce success, and keeps the save in flight until the underlying promise settles.
- Add/edit subaccount success checks persisted finance master, refreshes the selected subaccount, closes the modal, and prints parent/name/ID. Failure preserves the modal and retry state. Master-only changes no longer invoke mark() to drop payslip metadata.
- Selecting or opening the basic general template prompts before leaving a loaded/unsaved voucher, then opens a distinct blank new voucher with no existing voucher ID, money or payslip details. The saved original is never deleted or overwritten by the switch.
- Prevent switching and conflicting master/save actions while a save is in flight.
- On voucher save, allocate a unique per-date 4-digit serial in stored yyyymmddNNNN format if the number is blank, detecting duplicates from SQLite and memory; preserve existing record IDs. The independent list still shows four digits.

## Safety and limits
These changes do not explain why a particular Windows Edge/IndexedDB write hangs. It is unsafe to equate a pending warning with an unsuccessful transaction or a completed save. Investigate the actual browser IndexedDB and export a database backup before installing. No SQLite reset, bulk rewrite or Frozen #029/#048/#054 change was added by this release.
